This project involves the study and employment of modern image analysis and pattern recognition tools, appropriate for medical image based diagnosis consulting.

   Since the marriage of a variety of scientific fields has lead to the implementation of information systems indisputably valuable for science, EuriMatics Diagnosis Suite unavoidably comprises a multidisciplinary work, which combines backgrounds and principles of fields such as, computing, image processing, shape analysis, pattern recognition, and medicine.

   Within the scope of EuriMatics Diagnosis Suite project, both novel and modern computational intelligence techniques are applied to a variety of medical imaging applications and have been proven to be advantageous compared to classical methods, particularly when the latter are cumbersome or impossible to formulate and analyze.  

   EuriMatics Diagnosis Suite frees a doctor from routine tasks, while providing critical and sometimes hidden information that lead to consistent diagnosis and reproducible results of both diagnostic and scientific value.

   A specialised team of experts is employed to transform the doctor's set of specifications into a unique interface of interaction with the EuriMatics Diagnosis Suite. Research consulting is also available for the production of conference or journal papers, which will summarize and discuss doctors' findings throughout the training, testing and use of the diagnostic system. While the aim is supporting customisation and enhancing adaptability according to the doctor's requirements and needs, our ambition is providing the medical community with a complete medical imaging diagnostic tool.
